What year is the book? The inscription is dead on, I'm not an expert on early Mantle sigs, but this looks authentic IMO.

Well Thanks for posting this...Honestly I am jealous of this piece I want it I would take a small loan to buy it ..I read this book roughly 2 weeks before i met Mantle at a card show as a lad and couldnt remember the book until you posted this I had been looking for a copy now my mind is refreshed thanks for that.
