Have a friend who's aunt lost her husband a while ago and she is wanting to move several Pete Rose autos that she going in one of his storage lockers . (35) balls in total (2) bats and several photos . Don't know value or best way to move them . She said he got all of this from a boat show her husband was running and he ended up with all of these.

Typically a little more just because of the relationship between the two.

That's good to know ,Thanks for the info Randy !
I'll buy a bat
I'll talk to her tommorow . Don't know what she is expecting to get out of them but I'm sure she is open to offers
There are balls PSA/DNA and JSA certified balls for $40-55, and bats certified starting around $115. Probably not worth paying to authenticate them as it would cost $25+ per item at least minimum. As Zipper said, you're best bet would be to sell them separately and privately. eBay fees are ridiculous sometimes. Selling them as a whole you'd get screwed, and card shops usually offer half of what they'll sell it for. (Around here at least, and that's being generous). I'd be interested in a bat/ball, my dad is a huge Rose fan, would make a nice Xmas gift. Let me know when she figures out what she wants.
Just checked, PSA/DNA actually charges $20 to authenticate Rose, which is about how much value it seems to add to the piece, so not worth authenticating IMHO.
I sure will Ryan . Your the first to ask and you'll have first choice if she decides she will sell one . She is a widow and will not be able to pay any fees so I'll talk to her tommorow and see what she wants to do . I'm off all day tommorow and will get back to ya
Hahaaa ! That's just awesome

The sig is no good.

LOL, actually did a half way decent job on it.

Oh ok, I better keep an eye on you though. With some practice you could be pumping out forgeries in no time.  ( just kidding)
