I know reggie is about as common as pete rose so not sure why this would be forged but I picked it up dirt cheap, under 10 bucks on ebay, from a seller ive bought from before and trust....i know alot of you guys are familiar with yankees and this looks pretty comparable to a PSA DNA reggie I have but wanted to see if anyone disagreed.

Forgery unfortunately...

yikes, really?  ive put it side by side with an authenticated and it looks perfect.  Not disagreeing with you at all, just curious what the tell is.

no biggie, it was like 8 bucks but still sucks

It's a common Florida forgery. Remember forgeries are meant to "appear" authentic... It's really not that great of a forgery. Luckily you only spent $8 on it, please shred it or keep it as an exemplar.

Florida forgeries come in that "display" quite often... Black with the name in front.

10-4

was able to message him and get it refunded before he shipped, he didnt object.  thanks for the help

doesnt look right to me

is it the "R"?

its the entire signature

I went to a reggie Jackson signing and of the hundreds of celebs I've met, he was the nastiest prick of all. I use the word prick because he said to me , now you'll probably tell everyone that i'm a total prick...and when the kids and everyone for that matter got their turn to meet him he did not look at anyone, it was like they weren't there. rudest p..... ever to sign his name!...maybe that has something to do with the price.

I've heard nothing but horror stories about meeting Mr. October

hi ryan, did you read my muddy waters story and view the pics & double name autograph? that was one of the highlight nights of my life, reggie Jackson was a low point.

I met RJ in a MLB clubhouse where I worked and he was great. He was teasing me and after he walked out, the other guys were giving me a hard time. So i told them I didn't care, he was a senile old man. For some reason, they told him and he confronted me. I said yes, I said that. he just started laughing and said, "I like you" He signed a ball that he personalized to me and was cool throughout the playoffs.

Definitely not a guy that I imagine would be courteous to others though, but a cool guy behind the scene.
