Acquired this from a lot I just recently purchased. The person i purchased it from threw it into the mix because he didn't have a clue who was either What do you think?

What do you think as far as being authentic? I mean just from the brief research i have done since you posted this it seems his autograph has pretty good value. Thanks for your reply.

Ashburn is a hall of famer, recently deceased. but he was a prolific signer. I do not consider him to be the target of forgeries like many of the other HOF'ers. I believe this signature is authentic.

There is a JSA official coming to the local baseball card store here in St. Louis, MO in Friday. I figured i would have them authenticate it for me. The way I look at it is the person i bought this lot of baseballs from gave this to me so i can see spending 20 bucks to have it authenticated. Now i just have to decide if i should add him to my collection or sell it for a different baseball. Thanks again.
