Bonnie Raitt Signed LP - Opinions vary on this R&R auction piece.

Hello - I am moving this from the rock forum to the main forum to try and get more opinions.  This was a purchase from R&R back in the 90's.  I had one person say it looked ok, but another person, who apparently knew Bonnie well , says not real.  (you can see the comments iin the rock, pop section).  All opinions welcome and if anyone from R&R can chime in, all the better!

A tough one for me. I've seen a lot of her stuff and some of the signature matches others but it looks a little off. My initial feeling is this is a rushed example.

Thanks.  Hard to believe it was rushed if she took the time to write Best Wishes though?

I have met her about 5 times over the years.  Impossible to get her to sign.  I once met her with her father who signed for everyone.  He even asked her to join him by the fans.  She just walked away and he laughed & shrugged,  Your friend got very lucky I would say.

Disagree, have had many people sign best wishes or hello or something else when signing in a rush. Glad to see it's real as I thought.

A friend of mine got her recently here Greensboro NC

Here is a pic of it.  I know he has an extra one that he is willing to sell - fyi.  He got it authenticated by JSA.  It is personalized.  Let me know.   Below is mine  :)

Mark, Thanks for the offer, but she has been so fan un-friendly the times Ive met her, I just cant spend money for her if you know what I mean.  The one you posted does have some traits to the one I posted.  I was just hoping Roger or someone affiliated with R&R would chime in here since the item was one of theirs.

Hey Steve - Understand - totally.

Do you know what her Dad's signature looks like??  We didn't see her actually sign this - someone collected them and asked who they were to etc..  I am hoping this is NOT her Dad's signature on the album I have.  JSA did certify the other album she signed at the time same time.

thanks and let me know

Mark

I will post her Dad's signature on my LP later today.  He was the nicest guy!  She?  Ugh!

Here is her Dad's sig.  Jerry Orbach also signed this on the back cover.  The Raitt does seem similar in all cases, especially the 't'.  He father passed on a few years ago.

This is good without a doubt.  She used to be a very tough signer but has eased up as of late.

thank you so much Roger.  This piece is from the 90's.  I will try for her again when I can.  Last time in NYC (bout 2 years ago), I was still turned down.  Maybe she doesnt like New York!
