Chipper has a real smooth auto and this isn't it.
Yes, Tom. That was the biggest concern. I guess I'll be using this ball for practice with my nephew. I'm just glad I didn't spend anymore than I did on it. Most all my baseball autographs come from personal contact with the player, and this was just a careless buy that I have now learned from. Thanks for your opinion!
We've all been there Ricky. At least it didn't cost you too much.
Very true!
I bought this auto from an online auction (not eBay) for very cheap. I honestly didn't think I would win with the bid I put in ($5.00). Anyway, when I finally received it I was VERY skeptical (shaky signature). The picture on the auction site wasn't very clear and I just took a chance at this possibly being an early Chipper sig. I've been trying to find early autos from Chipper, but none of them seem to have any similarities that are consistent with this one. I am VERY reluctant to send this off to PSA/DNA or even JSA because if it is unauthentic, then that's more money I've wasted on a P.O.S. fake. Please let me know what you think. Much appreciated.
