Please recommend where I can purchase some real legit music signatures?

I'm trying to find a good place/website to buy autographs. Any recommendations? I know that Ebay is no good. But what is? I figured you guys would know best.

There are actually many good, safe bets on Ebay. Many artist websites sell signed items (bigger names, not so much). Newbury Comics lets you buy signed promotional cds, which are authentic.

There are actually many safe avenues in this hobby - all comes down to what you're looking for.

You mentioned the Black Keys. Here are a few good bets. The first couple from "thefriendlystranger" come from one of the better in-person collectors on Ebay. If prices seem high, keep in mind that he does accept offers. As you can see, he tries to get the best photo proof he can whenever possible. Sometimes he ends up with exact proof.

I agree with Rich.

For music i suggest several options. If you are looking for a safe bet and dont feel comfortable with deciding authenticity, i would go with Roger Epperson. He is the man on music. I also suggest newberry comics which Rich mentioned. They have GREAT deals and specialize in promotional deals when a new CD is coming out. The artist will often sign numerous CD brochures in a limited quanity that newberry will sale with there CDs while supply lasts. The best thing to do is to check Newberry daily. I suggest even twice daily. I normally check around 12pm eastern standard USA time, and then again at around 5 pm. They normally have there new deals up by then. You can get some unbelievably good deals, and they dont charge extra for the signed promotional album. Its not uncommon to see names like Avril Lavigne, Dan from the Black Keys, Slash, and tons of other rock bands. Right now they have up autographed Tesla, Marty Friedman formerly of Megadeth, and a few others up. You also should check there inventory that is not displayed under the new release section. They have tons of rock band autographs. There may even still be some from Dan of the black keys up for sale.

I also actually highly suggest ebay. That is truly where you can get the best deals. The problem is, in order to find them, you have to do alot of research on the sig in question, and that can be hard for new and old collectors. I use ebay all the time. Normally i can feel pretty sure on authenticity with my own research, but when i cant, i utilize psa quick opinion or sometimes roger epperson quick opinion. For 7 bucks, PSA will give you a quick opinion on the item, and thats hard to beat. But probably the best way, is to post a pic of the item in question here, or ask a member privately for opinions. Or, if you are really looking for one graph in particular, you can ask, and im sure members here can help you find one on ebay thats legit. Let me know if i can be of any help.

Autograph World is a great place to buy, and they are solid too, and if they do sell a bad one by mistake, they make a full refund with no issues

In addition to Newbury Comics, I've also noticed some overseas stores who sell signed copies - Record Store UK, along with JB Hi-Fi and Sanity in Australia. You'll see a lot of obscure names, but every once in a while there's a gem you can't get in the U.S.
