I'm going to guess it might be a forgery, simply because the seller "combined shipping" to equal the exact same amount I would have to pay for the items shipped separately, thereby increasing their profit margin through shipping.
I also think that might be a forgery. Though a pretty good one. What I didn't like first was the angle and usually "Tool" part is written lower then then "Peter". On the other hand "P" looks pretty good. What about the seller? Do you have any other items you may show?
Well, In my opinion all the autographs are more likely genuine. I found Peter O'toole autograph in the book that looks very close to yours. Yours one is in the book too, isn't it? Larry Niven looks very good to me and Stephen King has this strange loop, but I think he just didn't want to cross "insominia". There are many forgeries on Stephen King so you better start a new thread on him only. I remember he was discussed once and there were many replies in the topic. Here is the link to O'toole from Heritage- the picture is small, but you may see the similarities.
Thanks for the info and link, George. I looked up Heritage and was only able to find one O'Toole auction. Ironically, it's for a group of signed books, in which NONE of the signatures are shown:

Heritage is losing a lot of credibility with me for consistently misidentifying items. I emailed Chris Ivy about the latest batch, and he said the forgery of the Robinson was posted due to a new description writer being hired. Not sure why the marketing people would be in charge of vetting items, but it is what it is.
Turns out, the seller is the wife (I think) of the Monte Thwing individual, so even if the items are no good, it's not due to intent to deceive. Monte Thwing recently passed away, so the books were his collection, I believe.
