not authentic imo
what do you see that makes you believe that?
Also the seller just replied to my message and showed me a shop at home COA so of course I was like here we go.
no flow.....slowly written, especially the last part of Williams
All of the right elements are there, it just seems very heavy handed and Williams was known for a very free flowing signature.
thats what gets me.. Its all there but something inside says no. Yes the last three letters are what caught my eye as well, but its a round ball I see mistakes like that all of the time.
the "d" is off also. if you look at this next to authentic examples, it really stands out.
ok so the guy wrote me back and said that he got it from a friend who worked for shop at home. That friend got it from an umpire back in the day. There are numbers on the ball around the rawlings logo and he says that was from the umpire??
Anyway I dont know but Im not feeling it so im not buying.
I was just comparing the transitions myself to my williams balls here.. the a to m is the big red flag for me.
ok so I was gonna post to this earlier. Got a new dog and I had forgotten how much goes into, a new puppy. anyway my house stinks and I have to put everything up. So back to Williams...
I was gonna say the D in Ted looks off. I also do not like the M in Williams. The A looks flat.....I was actually gonna say if good, Williams signed this at a very old age. Like Terrier said slowly written.
Erich, I know your pain......got a new puppy in March.......lots of work!
