The seller says this below. I did some searching here on the site and see that many of you say to steer clear of Piece of the Past and many of you question GA as well, but I wondered if maybe it still might be real??? Thanks for your opinions!!! :
I understand your concerns, but again its' authenticity is backed by 2 of the foremost experts in the industry, and a guarantee for as long as you own the piece. All my pieces are properly documented or I don't buy them. You're right. There is a lot a garbage out there. Your due diligence as to the authenticity is already all done for you. You can track the Global registration by logging onto their website. If you have access to a fax, send me the number and I will fax you a copy of the COA from Piece of the Past (stating the guarantee). Its the real deal. You can't buy any better. Even if you don't purchase the piece, Happy Bithday! Again, thanks for your interest. -

There is a full copy of the COA from Piece of the Past (Las Vegas) in the tird picture on this posting. You can click on that picture and use the enlargement option to view and read it fully. Also, the Global Authentics registration sticker is shown in the bottom right corner of the signed album cover, #GV713159. This piece is double certified. The POTP COA guarantees the signature for the full amount you paid for as long as you own the piece. Can't really go wrong. What are your concerns? Happy to answer any other questions you may have. Hope this helps. |

No problem. Personally, I'd just leave it alone. The response you'd get from him would most likely be ugly. He'll continue to do what he does regardless.
Trust me, he's not a jerk who has no clue what he's selling. He knows 100% that all his items are forgeries and that he's ripping off incompetent "collectors" or people who have no idea what they are buying for Uncle Tommy's birthday. They think "It looks very professional and the framing & matting is just breathtaking! There's no way anyone would put that much effort into the presentation of a forgery. I'll buy it!!"
Good thing the forger signed Bruce's autograph on his ass-crack as this is truly a POS!
LMAO, Dom. I am one of those incompetent collectors, though, but I'm trying to learn!
At least you're trying to learn and didn't buy that POS! You should try reporting him to Ebay and see what they tell you. You'll love their response!
Ha! Another learning experience for me. They certainly don't give one much space to write, do they? Love this generic response:
That will do absolutely nothing Lori. I was talking about calling up the fraud department over at Ebay and talk to a rep. Wait to you see how fast they take action!
Know the #? And do you mean they will take action, or do nothing?
I threw the # away after dozens of times calling in, exposing a mass forger, explaining in detail of why and how the autographs were not authentic and being thanked by ebay for letting them know. Then I was promised that an investigation would be completed by ebay's fraud department and each time no action whatsoever was taken and the forgeries were sold. Reason: Ebay profits over the sale of forgeries. For every fake autograph ebay takes down, it takes $$$ out of their pockets.
This guy just sent me this message in response to my questions, and attached a copy of this COA. What do you think about this?
Who WOULD you acknowledge as an authorized, accredited source to authenticate signatures? POTP most certainly is still in business with large operations in Las Vegas and Hollywood. Your assertion that they possibly sell forgeries is slanderous. I am not affiliated with either POTP or Global in any way. I am a private ebay seller. Sounds like you have more an issue with ebays' and PayPal's protection policies than anything else. You should not buy any autographed item online because you think everyone is running a scam and would be impossible to satisfy your concerns. I am not very computer savvy but with the assistance of my daughter here is the COA photo as promised (not an excuse) - bigdaddyrae

This seller is a worthless scum-sucker! He knows damn well his items are fake and so is GA and Piece of the Past. Direct him to this website, but he will be too coward to join. Report him to ebay by phone tomorrow and let them know about these 2 COA companies. Both need to finally be on ebay's banned list !!
