I was looking for an affordable white jersey and stumbled upon this one

You sound pretty sure it's an older forgery. I'm guessing I should pass

You're not gonna find an affordable jersey. The man died 10 years ago. That's the problem with all these buyers of forgeries. They buy cheap cause they think they are getting a great deal. The White looks like a slowly done forgery on a cheap replica jersey.

I simply meant around $600, as opposed to $1000

But I guess you get what you pay for. I'm def going to pass, I very much appreciate your help

If you want a Reggie White jersey, pick out a nice example, even if it means spending a little extra. Make sure the signature is PSA/DNA and on a nice stitched jersey. Buy from someone who has good rep in the industry and get as many opinions from the members on this site before buying.

Saw an Ebay auction with a PSA letter (not that I'm a big PSA fan) that also looked right to me.  Looks pretty close:

Another auction with a PSA letter.  Notice the other COA included - Ball Four Sports.

These situations are pretty tricky, huh? Looks like the room is a split decision, haha

Most of his items come with that "ball four" certification...

Just to clarify, is this straight from Ball Four, or just comes with a Ball Four cert?

I posted some other pics of his items at the end of this discussion, maybe that'll help determine if this guy is legit

I compared the original jersey to the White auto I have. Mine was signed in 1986 when he was an Eagle, so the signatures were a little different. The jersey's signature looked slowly signed and the "W" off. I do like the PSA jersey better. Not only is the signature nicer and has more flow, the jersey itself it not an ironed replica

Agreed! The PSA is a keeper!
Also the 3 looks better on ths psa. From the examples i looked at the bottom of the 3 is usually shorter in length.
