eBay seller lock-em-up-bob 's unlimited supply of cheap base card forgeries has been discussed here before, but he continues to sell horrible forgeries of The Hitman which really p***** me off.

This is a horrible forgery, a failure on so many levels. Once again, his bogus "proof" is just a photo of him and Don from probably 10 years ago that he uses over and over and over.

As you can see, just a pathetic slowly signed shaky forgery. Also, Don would NEVER write "MVP 85". He would inscribe: "85' AL MVP". Cannot believe eBay allows this type of scam to happen over and over.

Someone paid $103 for this Yogi Berra "signed" trio card by eBay seller lock-em-up-bob

All pathetic forgeries, same angle, same size, signed one after another with a "proof" photo that proves absolutely nothing.

All clearly signed by one hand

Where's the Mattingly forgery at? It's not there anymore and no chance Ebay took it down...so wonder what happened? Hey Bob, how are you!

I have started to report these under several categories in the "report system", I guess one of them worked.

You have to wonder why would ebay just take down one of his auctions, but leave up all the rest.

Probably because that ball is good

those graphs look legit to me. As do the strawberry and carter graphs. Admittedly the y on carter is suspicious but both sigs look prertty good to me Stevo.

Not only is it fake, it's very fake.  He does some players better than others but still fake.   Carter was always $25 to sign a card from 1984 until his death.  Bob has had at least 20 of them over the years, most from the same few sets.   He's buying them for 5-10 cents a piece, grabbing a new sharpie and seeing what sticks.

Click on the photo and look at the "y" in Gary and the top of the "D" in Darryl.  Look how shaky those are.  Unless both signed in an elevator at the same time, in an earthquake, would they both have similar shakes.

He knows exactly what sets people collect---especially the late 80's/early 90's and has a continual repeat of these cards up for sale.

I can confirm that PSA/DNA has passed one of Bob's Mattingly "autograph" cards.  I searched through Worthpoint and eBay current items and found the following:

Worthpoint 1992 Don Mattingly Autograph

EBay signed Don Mattingly 1992 Topps 300, PSA/DNA Yankees GEM MT 10...
