Jackson Browne VIP tickets with "signed" poster...

A friend of mine and his wife went to see Jackson Browne in Birmingham, UK last year. They had VIP tickets. You know the ones at over $200, they usually come with a crap laminate (sorry, "collector" laminate) but with nice seats too. They had 3rd row tickets. Part of the package deal was a signed poster by Mr Browne himself ! And this is when it all went wrong : Browne decided to sign ALL the posters on the black portion of the image using a black pen ! He had the choice to sign on the blue part of the poster but, no, it is so funny to rip your fans off isn't it ? Now, please tell me if I'm wrong : when you buy those expensive package deal there is some kind of understanding : you pay to buy something special, in this case nice tickets and a signed poster. Brown didn't respect his side of the deal as he sold something that wasn't "salable" ! I can tell you that you cannot see the graph not even using a torch ! Unless he thinks we're thick in the UK... Well we re not. In fact we are so smart that  we stopped  buying his records since the late seventies ! Maybe Birmingham was "just another town along the road" after all ...

He is not so nice to tell you the truth.  Had an encounter with him this past year where there were only 6 fans waiting and he wouldnt walk over.  I have gotten him in the past but at an in-store signing.  Wanted him on my LP but he just waved and got in his car.

Hi Steve. This i might understand, he could be one of those not wanting to sign because of Ebay and stuff... The poster thing, in my opinion, is like buying a pie with nothing inside ! But a very expensive pie !

A-hole move.  I'm beginning to expect nothing less of artists from that generation.
