Hello Everyone

I have some concerns about this ball that maybe you can help me with. I had a quick opinion from PSA done and it came back Likely Genuine but the ball looks off to me. What do you think?

Thank you

At best, an ugly example that I don't like at all. I'm very surprised this one passed the PSA/DNA "Quick Opinion."

I would pay more for a legible "no doubt" example if I were you.

Thank you Randy. I was surprised to.

at best this is a rushed version of an authentic Koufax.  but with so many nice examples out there, why would anyone even consider this. by the way, it is probably authentic.

Thank you again Terrier.

agree with the others...likely authentic.  probably one of his recent, IP spring training rushed signatures.   He has such a nice signature, so i would try to find one of those for your collection.

Thank you David.

Be very, very careful with Koufax right now. I know of several groups pumpin out Sandy forgeries meant to mimic spring training sigs. The one you have pictured isn't one, but it's ugly regardless lol.

like this one?

"PSA recently didn't pass this submission, compare it to other known signatures to see that it is the real deal, acquired at spring training about 5 years ago. Ball should pass other third party authentication."

LOL. eBay even allows admitted forgeries nowadays. Sheesh, what a joke.

Thank you Terrier.

Thank you Ryan.
