I bought this photo on eBay a few years ago. I believe it was from a seller in London who said they got it at a premiere of one of the Spider-Man films there. I just came across it in a box today and I don't think its legit. Tobey seems to be a tough signer and the certified examples I've seen don't look like this at all. The only one this looks like is the pre-printed ones people get back from fan mail requests. Any help is appreciated.

Absolutely not Tobey

Tobey is a tough signer, anyway and apparently, not one of Hollywood's most friendly. He might be labelled the "friendly neighbourhood spiderman" in his films, but is notorious in real life.

I don't know what the demand is like for his signature, but I took one look at this and agree with Pete - I would be unhappy with this piece in my collection. Its all wrong, sadly.

Don't always go on the fact that people say "I got this from...," follow the autograph rules (e.g. get a receipt - c.o.a.'s are worthless for the most part) and you can't go wrong.

Get your money back for it if you can and try to bring to light that this seller is selling dodgy pieces. You will be doing a massive contribution in the war against forgeries.

sorry , NG
