Hey guys, I need some help. I won a Aaron Rodgers helmet on Ebay, supposedly certified by Steiner sports. Not from Steiner directly. The COA that came with it looks suspicious. I should add that the holograms look OK and not tampered with. I have compared it to my other Steiner football (which I hope is real). Notice the Steiner symbol on the front looks very dark, and it is not as clear as the other one. Also, the font is larger. On the back of the card, the lines do not match up. Also, the card itself seems BLUE, and the other white. What do you guys think? Should I just return the helmet? Thanks for any help!

I wouldn't sweat it, Steiner certs in terms of the card being lighter or darker is relatively normal as the cards themselves were manufactured at different times. They did do a signing with Rodgers right after his super bowl win and nearly all the certs were done in that manner. Additionally the printer ink is strictly based on the printer itself, everything on the helmet looks OK, the logo football I don't like as I never saw one of those done by Steiner, and the graph looks off quite honestly

hmm interesting. I just assumed the football cert looked "cleaner" . So you have seen that bluish tint on the back before ?

Yeah, I have well over 100 Steiner Certed items direct from them and the cards have varied a bit over time, as have the fonts used on the non-barcoded certs. Again the auto on the helmet looks ok to me, the football is a bit more concerning
