this one has already been passed by some experts.  I am not an expert so my opinion does not matter.  Initially, I was concerned that it looked like it was signed yesterday, but also the McCartney looked strange.  I have not seen the "a" formed like that (but I am sure the experts have many exemplars showing a similar "a"), and there is an unusual line at the top of McCartney that looks like an attempt at crossing the "t".

Pug I know what you mean.when I first saw the piece I said wow where did this thing come from.the condition the pen etc.i need to leave this to the pros.tracks alone puts my mind at ease.getting a Caiazzo on it and perry would just dismiss all doubts in my mind anyway.as soon as I have it in my hand I'm going to get this done.

It was strange how a police statement page well 2 pages with 2 sigs on each and quite tatty went for more, but at the end of the day you need to get it checked by a professional, if it's good and I'm sure we all hope it is! You got the bargain of the year, if not you get your money back. Life about experiences and this is one of them enjoy!!

Terrier,believe me,I've Been staring at this piece for weeks looking at a boatload of exemplars ,I also saw the weird a and the line above.the reasoning I came up with was.its was a fountain pen.your strokes may tend to be a little bit different .i saw a lot of fishy things about it.to perfect.as if it was done yesterday,picture is in great shape etc.however it's definitly not a facsimile or aut open.that means it's real ink on paper.i personally own a few lennons where it's a perfect match ,also Harrison's ,also ringo all look fine to me.you hit the nail on the head with the "a" but that is not enough for me anyway to pass a judgement on the piece and say it's not real.on the contrary.i think imo that the piece has a hell of a lot more going for it with the signatures being spot on than not.the only thing that worried me for weeks was the condition and the fountain pen and the fact that no one has ever seen the piece.once I heard tracks was on board,that put my nmind at ease.until it's in my hands,all I have is the same picture to go by as you guys.believe me I'm going to the ends of the earth for Caiazzo to authenticate the piece as well as perry,Roger and even psa.

Chris it's strange how the police statement went for more.dont know why? But it did.if this thing is as real as I believe it to be,it is absolutely the bargain of the year.the people at Sotheby's are shocked.im not just saying that either.

Im sure if known  it would come with a letter from Paul Wane at Tracks that item would have garnered more attention. Hopefully you gotta steal!

I tend to agree with that Ian.like I said before,if they had given that info to the bidding public,it would have fetched more.

I don't own any Beatle autographs but am a BIG fan and was lucky enough to be at the Abby Road Studio for the "Twenty Years ago today" party in 1987, I think it was. Correct me if if I'm wrong but you won the heritage set with the Caiazzo coa that wasn't advertised and now this one with the tracks uk coa that wasn't announced until last minute.

I was thinking the same thing a few days ago.both instances neither heritage or Sotheby's told any one that there were coas from Caiazzo or tracks.its actually quite unbelievable how they keep omitting important information.its also even more crazy that in both instances,it happened to me and I benifited from both.

I wouldn't be happy if I consigned my beatles albums and they didn't inform the public about the provenance and coas.
But as long as your happy with them, that's all that matters.

I would be absolutely pissed if I found out that a piece I consigned to an auction house didn't bother to let the bidders know about the coa I furnished them.
