Hello fellow collectors.  I wonder if there might be a Michael Jordan autograph expert that might be able to tell me if this signed jersey is authentic, before I spend $11 or $12 on PSA's quick opinion.  This fellow had the chance, per the conversation, to sit with Jordan and get 3 items signed, 1 basketball and 2 jerseys.  I have a tri-signed basketball by Jordan, Bird and Magic (for sale for the right price), but just want to verify that this is authentic before I purchase it.  To me, and the Jordan's I had in the past, looks good, but a 2nd or 3rd opinion would really help.  Thanks in advance and have a great weekend !

Doesn't look right IMO. Not very fluid, too many "sharp"/"shaky" turns. When it comes to MJ, spend the big bucks and buy Upper Deck. Where is the hologram supposedly from?

Hi Ryan.  Thanks so much for your opinion.  I can't seem to read what the COA says, with the hologram that comes with it.  I've been in this long enough to know anyone can do this (make a hologram matching a COA), but I just wasn't 100% sure the autograph was real, even though his last name looks close to my basketball, just haven't see the first part of his name signed like this much.  It looked almost good enough to buy, plus he had a number of pieces he supposedly had Jordan sign in person through this COA company.   I do agree, as the very last signed jersey I had was indeed a UDA signed jersey, very nice and framed - kicking myself for selling it.  thanks again and best regards.  Chris

It looks to me like someone took their time to copy his signature. And I've never heard of Jordan doing a sit down signing for anyone other than UD.

He does sign a lot IP while playing golf but this signature doesn't look like his quick IP one.

Thanks for your opinion Matt.  It looks like there are 2 NOs, so I'll pass on buying this item.  thanks again to both of you and happy hunting :o).

Here's an in-person Jordan I obtained at an Elway golf tourney. Jordan was sitting at a table when signing.

If he got it in person there would be no need for a hologram. I wouldn't buy it myself. It has none of the energy seen in the in person example of Steve W.

Thanks Chad, that seems to be the consensus so I decided not to buy it after all.  Appreciate your input  :o)
