Gordon Lightfoot In Person successes

I know Gordo is getting on in years and I am sorry to say I have yet to see him live.  I am, however, going to see him in April here in Maine at an autograph friendly venue.

I read an article in Huffington Post about his very strict schedule relating to shows and sound check....Apparently sound check is promptly at 2:30pm.

I plan on arriving early to get him to sign a few records I have of him.  Does anyone have any recent experience with Gordon they can relate here?

Never did soundcheck but he was great after the show.

He typically does not sign preshow and only does it post show. Was told that by his manager. The manager did tell me to come back to the same spot after the show and to his word took me inside to meet Gordon ( it was raining and he didn't want me to bother him in the rain).

If you can only do one or the other after is your best shot
