Thanks very much for letting me know! Very interesting to see how my signatures are continuing their journey. Yes, these are indeed the signatures that I owned until the end of last year. But I did not sell them on eBay, rather I sold them privately to a collector that assured me they would forever be a treasure in their collection... I guess they must have changed their mind!

As to the differences you see in the separate scans: I myself, as well as the person that purchased them from me noticed these differences as well. I can only attribute it to different scanners and software being used to save the images. The signatures were definitely never restored or retouched in any way shape or form.

The buyer will be shocked when he recieves them because they look different in Perrys photo.

Looks like the scans on eBay were pretty accurate. It occurred to me that my initial scan of the autographs (long before 2010; I had the scan on file) was made while they were sitting in a plastic cover (red back, transparent front). I'm thinking that the plastic may have been responsible for the 'ghosting' and the seemingly somewhat intensified coloring.

In my estimate it might have been a bit higher than what was generally assumed to be the value of this item, but then it's all 'in the eye of the beholder' as the cliche goes.

Additionally, they would have had to incur the cost of authentication, eBay and PayPal fees, whereas my sale was not burdened by any of that.

I will leave the disclosure of my final reaping at the discretion of the purchaser.
