IMO, ballpoint pen or pencil are great. Depends on the item. I tried to get BB King to sign in pencil once and he insisted that Sharpie was "better". I was disappointed but It was really sort of funny. I still look at that autograph and say to myself, "Damn, that would have looked SO much better in pencil ".

That is correct,I thought the Lennon in particular was the nicest one out of the 3 he tried to find a Harrison to complete the set but to no avail.

Yes i think Nirvana tickets will be worth a bunch in 30 years, like the beatles.
