How to find signings

So far most of the autographs I have are Athlete signings which I find through Signings hotline or looking at a few other websites like Steiner Sports for example. Is there a way to find Actors/Actresses/Singers signings like that? I mean other than conventions of course.

This site focuses a bit on book signings.

For music, a lot of signings happen at promo events (radio stations, record stores, etc). Best to follow artists you're interested in closely on Twitter for something like that, as sometimes the events receive limited promotion.

Are you interested primarily in public signings, or private as well?

I would like public but private works too. I live in NJ so public signings in say NYC, Atlantic City, and Philadelphia aren't bad at all. Private signings work too though since my work hours vary quite a bit.

Follow like Rough Trade and any major record stores/radio stations for updates on signing events. You won't find many music heavyweight opportunities, except for occasional book signings.
