A respectful and thorough dissertation, No but seriously, 

Characteristically, properly formed letters, even things such as the entrance and exit of certain letters. I feel that there is elegance in this particular signature. Can provide details on obtaining should anyone like.

It really is a beautiful signature, but I do not recognize as his own.
I have a John E. and differs completely from this signature. I looked for other John (older and younger) and enconrei not anything like what it showed me.
