I thought this might be cool. Tell what concerts you are going to see. Let us know if you liked or disliked the show. Maybe show a picture, autograph, guitar pick, drumstick, or a cool story .

It was about this time last year Paul. "I'm out there tour" I think it was called. Every song sent chills up my spine he was so good. He played around 40 songs straight through, no breaks.
Wow.thanks for the info Barry.very exited.haven't seen him since 02'

Garbage at Summerfest (Milwaukee) last night. Pretty incredible set. There was no encore planned as it was a fest set, and accordingly the crew started packing up after Cherry Lips. The audience refused to leave, and the band came out for one more song.

I seen garbage in 96 , they were garbage. Just kidding, they were pretty good with Butch vig on drums, the famous producer.

Butch actually has sinusitis and can't fly - so Matt Walker (Filter, Smashing Pumpkins) is taking over drums on this leg. Doing a great job too.

To much cocaine.
Butch is the George martin of grunge.
Garbage is here in a couple of weeks and I would really like to see them but I'll be in London. Nazareth and Kentucky Headhunters are playing very close to my hotel while there. That coke will do it Paul.

Also saw Phoebe Ryan last night in Chicago. She'd previously written for rising pop stars like Melanie Martinez and Bea Miller before launching her own music career last year. She was really good live. Looking forward to an album release in the near future.

Cool Rich. I love to get autographs from young up and coming artists. How cool I figure if they get huge. I remember Keith Urban played where I work when he first started, could have got his autograph but passed it up. I said to myself no way this guy is going to make it. This girl sure has some fancy shoes Rich.

Yeah, definitely cool to have opportunities in such small venues (Schubas' capacity is 165). Seeing kind of an interesting mixture this month - Garbage, Phoebe and this week The Julie Ruin (Kathleen Hanna and Kathi Wilcox from Bikini Kill) and then Wolf Alice again in a couple weeks. On the fence on Bastille.

Added New Zealand electronic duo Broods to the list  next month. Another up and coming act (brother and sister duo) who is already big in NZ and Australia and now starting to build momentum in the US. They have a great sound. Playing arguably the best venue in Chicago - the Metro. Tix were $28, but you could upgrade to VIP for $60, which seemed like a great deal because it allows early entry to the venue, soundcheck access, a signed poster, and a meet & greet and photo op. Plus an album download. I'm all for deals like that.
