Hi Robert.
I sent you a PM. Thanks for your offer to help.
David
Jon Pelley it was signed in 71 at Albert hall, I was thinking of selling it.
First name only Ozzy, what looks like a scuff on the Geezer, a rushed Tony and somewhat misshapen Bill, but an authentic fully signed set of the original four members nonetheless.
A fully signed piece by the "classic" line-up is of course much more desirable than anything from the current line-up, especially a mass produced commodity like the CDs sold at the shows currently. At least all the ones signed in silver are signed quite small and the signatures are barely visible due to the paint not adhering properly to the shiny material.
The original band was last together for a few tours between 1999-2005. Outside of the organized signings for the "Reunion" CD, I'd say fully signed contemporary sets are relatively rare.
I thought you might like to see my Reunion cd signed for me by the band in 1998.Ozzy did a slight smear job with his thumb as he tried to sign it,that bothered me a bit at the time but I love it now the way it is! He insisted on using a gold pen while the others used a silver.
Looks good. possibly signed during the Reunion signing sessions.
I got Reunion inlay signed at the end of 2013 (=> no Bill Ward).... :)
You can tell Tony Iommi's signature by the way he slants his name. A left-handed or ambidextrious person could perform.
