I'd love to learn some tips from the pros on how to spot forged Beatles autographs.

I nearly bought a forged McCartney had it not been for the good people on this site. They quickly spotted that it was a common example of a known forger. I would like to learn how to spot these known forged on my own.

Thanks!

Just get to know some of the good and bad dealers to start with, Antiquities vegas and California, sell forged Beatles autographs Gfa coa to boot.

Tracks uk sell legit Beatles plus a number of other dealers.

Do your homework. Look at as many legit signatures as you can find...study...study...study.

Make copies of authentic autographs...keep them on file. Compare real ones against suspected fakes. Sites like this don't usually tell you what to look for...because forgers can go online and pick up tips on what they're doing wrong.

Yeah, what Jim said, study good examples, over and over, and fakes will become apparent. Buy from good dealers. etc.

It is actually very hard to execute a good forgery in my opinion and get it passed someone who has put in even a modest amount of research. You either won't get the speed right or you will screw up something. Sure, there are some well executed Beatles forgeries but not that many people have the skill to do it. Most of them are fairly easy to spot.
