I wanted to get y’all’s thoughts. I came across several early publicity photos from the Disney Studios. I knew they sent out several, but the one that came in a set I recently purchased was different. It was this photo, and on the back it had the autograph. However, when I looked at it more carefully, the autograph differs from the Snow White (in fact, it looks like something or someone really pressed on it when they signed it). I’m trying to figure out if this would have been something that Walt might have given to someone very early as a gift. I would date this to be late 1930s. I should say mine is fairly large and has proper paper aging.

I should say that the front of the photo wasn’t signed, and there was no copyright on it.

Looks like a preprint to me.
