Help on a Van Halen Guitar & CD

Have a co-worker looking to buy a couple of Van Halen items and I wanted to get the experts on here to give an opinion. The CD looks legit and like alot of CD's floating around that were store signed at various In-Store signing's in 1998, but I still wanted to see what the experts thought. The guitar belonged to a Warner employee supposedly. Thanks in advance for an and all help and by friend appreciates helping him out.

Both items actually look pretty typical to me.  I commented on the autographed Van Halen III CD back in November.  It was posted in a discussion along with an autographed Diver Down CD.  I had a few concerns at the time.  The two CDs were either signed by the band at the same time, or the result of an elaborate forger.  A forger may have used the Van Halen III CD as an exemplar, since David Lee Roth’s autograph was missing on the Diver Down CD.  Either that, or the CDs were signed by the band at the same time, which is more likely.
