Is that the story you were given? The autograph looks slowly drawn, and doesn't look authentic to me.

hi thanks for the response i have just spoken to each of my parents who are both in there late 70's and live in different states and the account of there memories is   much the same. my dad said this is what happened he was very sure. i am not out to make any money only to verify these autographs i could write 2 pages of accounts of my parents like the hospital were they went which to was the walton.so in summary i know that this one is real and trying to get the other ones scanned and loaded to this forum as they are in 3 different states.i must admit by me starting to find out about this i have spoken to my family more than i can remember.regard smark

Mark,

I'm confused. If this one is real and they were all signed at the same time, wouldn't the other three have to be real as well? Why are you only sure about this one? If the provenance is rock solid and you know that they're real, what are you trying to verify?

I agree, this does not look authentic, in fact, it looks secretarial.

wow i did not know the amount of fakes that are out there but will get the other cards sent to me and scanned we were given them in 1984 after our grand mother died still hoping they are real but maybe they were pre singned it was 48 years ago   but he was there.collecting tin jappenese tin toys has taught me alot with much reseach going in to the toy before purchase  and i to scream at  ebay and the like when i know its fake.thanks for everyones imput this is a great site cheers mark

secretarial in my opinion.

This card has been signed by one of the Beatles fan club secretaries, she signed a few as I've seen her good work before...infact I own one almost identical to this !!!

Yes this was signed by the fan club secretary

secretarial in my opinion too.

It looks like the signature was copied from the 1964 Beatles bubblegum cards...to me this looks like it was drawn...not signed...
