Hello I my son is new to collecting and is looking to by the following Wayne Gretzky Jersey and was wondering if anyone could tell me if you believe it is authentic or a fake by looking at the two pictures I added.

Thanks Paul HepburnGretzky%201.jpgGretzky%202.jpg

Paul, as someone who has gotten easily 200+ Gretzky autographs in my time, including probably 20+ jerseys.

If I have JUST this item to go on, which is NEVER the way to judge an item, I would say its "probably real".
The things I look for in Gretzkys is the W, the G & the Y.  (the W & G has changed some over the years, but the Y has been consistent over the 25 yrs I've been graphing)
All of these characteristics, look solid to me.

Comparing an IP Gretzky like this to a WGA is absurd. They are never going to match up.
This looks like any ordinary IP Gretzky I've seen.

Can you tell us more about the seller? Like I said, just going off this 1 item, is not how I generally would assess a seller. Its too easy to pass off 1 good fake, or have 1 off looking legit item. If they have 20, 40, 75 items I am familiar with to look at, I can come up with a far more certain assessment.

Hi, I am the guy that has the wall poster print with the two WG signatures.

I bought the poster print unsigned.  The print was given to an acquaintance who had access to Wayne at the Boys in the Bus Reunion.  He returned the print to me with the two signatures - one on the Oilers photo and the other on the Rangers photo.  My wife, who owned a framing business, had the print plaque mounted and framed.  The acquaintance was a partner in the EIG that owned the Oilers.

A couple of photos of the print are attached

Did you collect those Gretzkys in the same way that you collected the Once Upon a Time signatures on the posters you are selling. B/c those signatures are horrid forgeries. I you "collected" those OUAT signatures in the same way you got the Gretzky's, then those 200 autographs are all just as much crap as those OUAT forgeries you, Canadagraphs, are selling.
