I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures' or 'Disney characters'.
Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.
Here are some current examples:

Mystery Solved!
I googled Michael Jackson signed drawings several ways this morning and dug deep. I came across this:
A press release on WikiCollecting.org from the Memorabilia Vault about the auction with the We Are The World award that ends with: "The sale will also include several Michael Jackson drawings gifted to his friend, the child actor Corey Feldman, a strand of Jackson’s hair and a pair of his worn sunglasses."
http://en.wikicollecting.org/michael-jacksons-american-music-award-...
Then I googled "Corey Feldman Michael Jackson drawings and came across three drawings on the MJJ Collectors Club website from that same Memorabilia Vault auction: Liz Taylor, the Eiffel Tower and Pinocchio. T
This is a real lesson to remember to dig beyond the first pages in Google.
So now we know: Corey Feldman is the mysterious anonymous insider. If he verifies that provenance, we're one step closer to figuring out what's going on here.
Thanks Steve. I had seen all of these - but since I was asked not to say "who" consigned these, I didn't. I too, like Roger, keep my word when I say I won't divulge information given to me.
The information posted on the Wiki site comes directly from press releases from May of this past year, via Lin Taylor/MV's PR dept.
The Collector site lists anything that is sold of MJ's no matter if its good or bad. They have all of Bush's signatures there as well - heres a few...

Now that its posted, heres a question for MV. Why could you source him in the beginning but later you couldn't?

I don't believe anyone is attacking anyone, its just that there is so many questions - that don't make sense.
Something I brought up earlier too, is that another member on our forum wrote to me telling me he was offered one of the drawings long before MV's sale of it. He was offered the piece for $1000.00 (he wishes not to be named).
How did this happen if Corey is giving these to MV?

I saw on another site that some amateur drew vertical lines on the MJ award but didn't draw the horizontal line to show that in fact what I said was true is that the two award plaques have been not only tilted but moved at a down angle towards the middle which means the one on the left goes "downhill" while the one on the right goes "uphill". Like any pressman would know, that would make the vertical lines off too. the Epperson knows
I agree. No chance those number 2's are the same. I've engraved enough trophy plaques over the last twenty years to know that much.
Then you're a better man than me Rick as I have been printing for over 35 years and letters and spacing in a font do not change unless they are specifically changed for a reason and I doubt highly that it happened here. I have been stating that it cannot be determined from these photos that the two plaques are the same or not but I can state that the lettering and spacing within a font cannot change unless done manually. So are you saying that the font is the same but the "2" is the only character that is different? I'm just asking.
I am not trying to compare resumes with you Roger and I trust your opinions. I thought it was just a discussion.
I am not sure the font is the exact same. Both would need to be compared with exact like photo's. The tilting and further shot can play tricks on the eye with spacing, width and such. Unless we could compare exact I think there just no way in knowing 100%. The "2" is just the most obvious difference to me. I've looked at them close and I just do not believe they are the same.
