Richard Booth replied to Mike Smith's discussion Ace Frehley: is it real?
"The Ace signed photo was probably signed in 2010/11. He was signing photos and passes that way in person and via his official store items. I met Ace backstage at the Download Festival in the UK and he signed my Hotter Than Hell CD booklet sleeve…"

Brian replied to Mike Smith's discussion Ace Frehley: is it real?
"I've had a few things signed by Ace from 2011-2013. Not every item has the connecting E and F. The same day he signed the book (oct 2013), he signed a 8x10 that did not connect the E/F. He also signed an LP that DID connect. Same deal in 2011…"

Brian Burger replied to Mike Smith's discussion Ace Frehley: is it real?
"I hate to be the dissenting opinion here but if you look at the signed book Ace uses the "e" in Ace as the long straight stem of the "F" in Frehley on the book and the last two conventions I attended recently where he was…"

Brian replied to Mike Smith's discussion Ace Frehley: is it real?
"Thats a pretty good price. Factoring in his fee for autographs ($30), admission to a convention ($20-25) - that leaves you paying about $20 to NOT wait in line a few hours. Good deal!"

Rich replied to Mike Smith's discussion Ace Frehley: is it real?
"If it was from a convention of some sort, then Ace was signing loads of stuff and odds are that the seller will not have exact proof for your particular item, especially if it was an item that he signed many copies of."

"I've had a few things signed by Ace in person over the last few years - this looks good to me (although I'm no expert). Can you ask the seller if the photo has Ace posing with THAT photo? I imagine the photo is from one of…"

Ace Frehley: is it real?

A seller on eBay has multiple items signed by Ace and his "proof" of authenticity is a photo only to be shown to the winner of the auction. He claims to have paid to have 50 items signed so the photo will not likely have this picture being signed itself. I am not automatically saying the autograph is a forgery, I'm just hesitant that proof would not be shown at point of sale. Any thoughts on this signature would be greatly appreciated.

Dude, you have a NICE Arizona State collection! I love those old Collegiate Collection cards. I buy a box everytime, regardless of the team and see how many autographs I can get. Put together a nice Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Louisiana State, South Carolina, and Notre Dame collection so far.

Hey Mike, Sorry but my Davey Allison is one of if not my most prized autographs I got. I wouldn't part with it unless it's for another one of more value. Sorry
