I'll get um next time.
I went into it looking for a bargain(as we all do) and it bit me in the ass.People were spending money.Didnt feel like dropping my wallet this time.

Spending Big time!

That photo is frickin' fantastic. Absolutely love it.

It gets no better than that paul ,congratulations!

Simply stunning, congrats!!
Congrats on a great set Paul.

At the risk of being the party pooper of the century and to stem the tide of gushing congratulations a tad:

1. I wonder if the excitement of apparently getting a steal was worth all the agonising before and after. There were no less than eight pages of discussion around this piece in the original thread.

2. It is not really surprising that Tracks have given an loa as they had already blessed it before. I still ask myself why they and other dealers let it go so cheap.

3. Although I am sure that this could now be sold for a decent profit (maybe even $5k or so after auction premiums and other costs/fees left, right and centre) the item itself doesn't get my juices flowing as much as it seems to for other people. For me, just having the four signatures neatly written by the respective signatories with no dedications makes the piece a bit "cold and clinical". Ringo signing into the black is not so great either.

Maybe I'm just green with envy but I don't think so.

Hi pug.We did have a lengthy discussion about this piece, but that is wby this site exists. To discuss autographed items.Just because there was 8 pages of it does not mean there was an issue with this piece. In my opnion the discussion was a mix of everything, congradulatory, scepticizm, amazement, doubters stc..This is what makes this site so great, the fact that we can all express our opinions, professional or novice.I'm am not responding to defend my really fantastic unbelievable piece, there is no need for that.I already know that this probably was my score of a lifetime, and that is all that matters.Personally I love the fact that it does not have a dedication,as I think most people would agree. You said it looks cold and clinical, the provenance letter did say that it was abstained for this tobacco and club giant.Maybe the boys made sure that they really took there time to sign it and perfectly space there sigs.whos know and who cares. In person, this thing is a beauty! The sigs are in deep blue and "starr"can be easily seen.I guess I am now defending the piece.lol.Anyway I'm done with my rant.I own a couple of businesses and one thing I always say "you can't make everyone happy"thanks to everyone, including you pug.
