My dad passed this down to me. His grandmother went to elvis Presley concert and caught hankerchief thrown from stage then he signed backstage. Also I have the menu they passed out at front lobby. Says Las Vegas Hilton.

I didn’t know about the prints!

neither did I

This is a printed signature as mentioned before. Elvis had a number produced for each show he would throw out and later on at most of the Vegas shows and beyond they were for sale at the merch stands.

No doubt about it - this is a pre print

Elvis tossed these out like candy at his live concerts

There isn't a hope in heck that this was "hand signed"

Still it's a nice item IF Elvis indeed had it around his neck

Can be a thousand dollars plus in the right auction etc.

I was rooting for it to be real for Puckett

But as you say Don, if it came from Elvis' sweaty neck from a live show then it's still very cool and a great keepsake with value

Too bad the story about it getting signed backstage is bogus though

This doesn't present like the signed fabric I have seen, which is not a ton. The preprints are indeed all over the net. I just sampled three but there are a LOT:

The picture really doesn't give good view of the fabric.

The three samples Eric posted -thank you- are very typical for concert scarfs and other things like handkerchief and more. And Don is right. At an auction -first must be authenticated with an LOA- it can bring thousands of Dollars. Good luck to you to proof that Puckett.

Thanks for all the help guys!! No need for proof.

I agree, but even if was not a print the signature is very off.  Elvis had a very distinct connection with his letters and I dont see that here.

"the signature is very off"

Are you suggesting that Elvis himself & the Colonel & the estate have for all these 40 plus years been playing a joke on fans?
