I would vote "no" on this one.

Thank you Joe - here is another the same seller is offering

No as well, IMO.

Thanks again Joe - I am actually staggered that a lot of the times the prices between the genuine articles and the 'suspect' pieces are not too far apart

I see prices all over the place. Prices do not determine authenticity. Kamran is the expert on Madonna. I'm just a serious student. The more I see the better I am getting. Although, I still get his eyes to take a look before I buy.

I agree Joe - thanks for your help. I may post a few more tomorrow that I have been collecting images of.

About that photo in the original post... I was a member of ICON (Madonna’s official fan club) during the Re-Invention Tour and I remember there were stories on her fan forums that came out during that tour of Madonna calling fans over to her vehicle when she saw someone wearing a shirt she liked. She would ask if she could have the shirt and in exchange she gave them a signed photo, it happened at least twice that I’m aware of and both times the photo she gave them was that photo in the original post (but also; both times she personalized). It was as if an assistant had a supply of those photos on them (off topic, but when I got Roberta Flack at an event an assistant had a stack of promo photos in her bag that Flack would sign for people wanting her autograph, perhaps Madonna does the same thing?).

The thing that gives me pause about this piece though... are there very many authentic examples where she lifts the pen after the M in her first name?

I agree with Joe on both of these - not authentic.

yes this photo was signed by  Madonna's former manager not madonna

Ah that’s good to know, cause I was actually thinking it looked close enough to the real thing that maybe it was a rushed signature.

By the way, MadonnaTribe has the story of a fan who got a signed photo outside the United Center during the Re-Invention Tour (I was wrong, it wasn’t personalized).

The signature the fan got:

The HARD CANDY cd is infact 100% real....and its one of her more rarer titles to get signed....by then she had new management so there was no secretarial signatures..HOWEVER her signature had become very lazy and scriptlike...here is mine...signed at her house in london

Hi, Kamran.  Thanks for your very-much-appreciated opinion.  What do you think of this one?
