I am a major Disney collector so any time I go to antique show type events and see a nice Disney piece at a decent price I always pick it up! I just purchased this piece signed by the voice of Rafiki the monkey from The Lion King. I was just wondering what your thoughts on the authenticity are! Thank you for your time!

Here's a Robert Guillaume as Rafiki for comparison. Guillaume signed it in January 2002 for Ryan Zellner, an IP collector with a great reputation:

Thank you! I would say from the one you sent me it checks out! What would you say?

the first name is total different from urs and steves

I totally agree but the last name is similar off of the first name I would say 100% fake but the last name is very similar

actually not the last name isn't close earth .

one has almost all letters and one is a couple letters and a long line and I have no clue who this person is im just looking at the 2 pics

I don't know Guillaume's autograph all that well, but the letters are more slanted in yours than I typically see in his writing, and his R loops are generally more rounded. There are likely variations I don't know though.

The OP and the specimen Steve Cyrkin provided do not look similar to me. I would say they were signed by different hands. JMO.

Im starting to think it’s fake. Oh well it’s just the voice of rafiki. I didn’t think people had the time to forge someone like that... I guess there are just next level losers.

What did the charge for it, Brandon? That's often a warning sign.
