Meet and Greet: Paul Rodgers 2018 Tour
Being a MASSIVE Paul Rodgers fan I decided to bite the bullet and spring for the meet and greet package for this Friday’s Paul Rodgers/Jeff Beck show in Boston. $225 later (NOT including the price of my concert ticket) and I am starting to get a bad feeling about what the “experience” will be like.
Initially I was very excited at the idea of getting a Free album or two signed but this morning I got an email from the company that is handling it telling me that I would NOT be allowed to use my camera or cell phone for photos and that they would take the photos and I would have to wait as long as two weeks for them to appear online so I can grab them.
All I need now is an email saying “no autographs” and I will be VERY irate about all this..

INFURIATING news! Nowhere in ANY literature did the company handling the meet and greet say “No Autographs” yet after paying $225 and missing much of Jeff Becks set in order to get in line, we were treated to “No Autographs” “No Cameras” “we take the photo” and that photo will be online in about two weeks”.
Paul himself agreed to sign Free’s first album for me but the handlers shooed me away after the photo was taken.
After telling me I couldn’t have it in the photo they told me I couldn’t grab it off the table after Paul agreed to sign it..

Larry, if you really want Paul's signature on the 2 Free albums email Lucy Piller
who is his assistant and she will get them signed for you...
Her email is piller@fan.net she also would be able to get Simon Kirke to sign them also I hope this helps

Having said all this.., Paul Rodgers put on a CLINIC tonight on what constitutes being a frontman...
I simply have no words to express his awesomeness.. Set was an even split between Free and Bad Co with some surprises thrown in
And his band was phenomenal as well...

Unbelievable! Many of these "handlers" are just jackasses handed a lanyard and act like stormtroopers. Probably take delight in seeing a fan loosing out on an autograph. Sorry for you.

Sorry to hear that was your experience, Larry. I have heard Paul Rodgers it super nice guy when you meet him on the streets. So you want us to pay $225 and not getting anything signed. SMH.
I was emailed that Ann Wilson will also not sign anything during the meet and greets. I was like... really?? SMH!

Sorry to hear that. I would have completely disregarded the handlers if they had tried to shoo me away after that. Easier said than done from a distance though. Hope that the assistant from the contact listed below can help you out!
