I submitted a autographed football to PSA for quick opinion. Came back "likely not genuine". I have numerous mega football player collectors that have seen pics of this ball, close up, and said it looks very very real. Any opinions on PSA?

I've used PSA quick opinion a few times. They ended up being spot with several baseball items.
I plan on having JSA looking at it next weekend. The marker is very real, varying pressure areas, compared to several authenticated autos of the same player and if its fake, they are very very good!
They may be right sometimes, but I have very little faith in PSA QO. I’ve used them a little bit, and they’ve been wrong about 70% of the time in my experience. Now, their full service is obviously better than that.
TThe brown ball signed is a JSA authentic auto
To be fair, I should add that my sample size is not large. But I think the most common knock against their service is that they many times error on the side of caution and render a “Likely Not Genuine” result for an item that is in fact genuine. As a result, a potential collector misses out on a nice piece, and the seller misses a big sale. And, of course, no one knows who is rendering this opinion. At least with music QOs from Epperson, you know whose opinion you’re getting.
PSA QUICK OPINION IS DECENT.
