Why would someone go to all that trouble to age a Zappa poster.  I am a Zappa fan, and knew Frank personally, but he is not a big collector magnet.  If this was a Hendrix, Dead, Doors, Zeppelin, etc. item, it might be worth something, but in better shape, not with stains, bends and a whole lot of other flaws.  This guy probably acquired it and has no idea what it is.

because if it was a real globe from 73 its worth a pretty penny

if real worth around 1k or more

ive sold zappa posters for 4k before

This poster is marked globe CLASSIC posters at the bottom . That indicates it’s from globes reprinted series from a few years back. The aging is total bs. And yes early rare Zappa posters can sell for 2k plus. I’ve got some available if anyone here is looking for some.

The "aging" at lower left under the "OF" and left of "Richards"  is not believable IMO.

I know a good one would be worth some money, but if I were counterfeiting it, I would not age/damage the poster to this extent, as it would keep a lot of people, including me, from even considering bidding on it. Only in the case of missing EXTRAORDINARILY rare items that I am missing in my core collection, would I consider buying a poster or handbill in this condition. In general, when dealing with items in this type of condition, unless you get an insanely good buy, it's hard to recoup your money.
