The signature is good but this looks like a pre-print they sent out through the mail for a while so check it's live ink

A couple of days late to this but for future reference- These signed profile shots are a mixed bag.

The majority that turn up are actually genuinely hand signed, but there are also a tonne of them features a different photo that are pre-printed.

Stupidly I misplaced my reference copy of the preprinted version but from memory- if you come across one that has much thinner black ink and every letter of his last name is present then you will want to check that it is live ink. In my experience, these ones with thick texta and shortened last name tend to be the hand signed through the mails from the late 80s/early 90s.

Great to know thanks mate. That’s a new preprint for me- hadn’t seen it before 

It gets very confusing trying to work out which of these are hand signed and which are preprinted nowadays without seeing them in the flesh.

I think the rule of thumb is still if you can make out every letter in his last name, be careful as it is likely a PP
