Hi,

Could I ask you opinion of this please?  Signed 3 times by Ringo according to the provenance.  Thanks

These aren’t authentic in my opinion.

This looks like a well-known forger's work to me. What's the provenance?

BTW, if that was real it would sell in the $20,000s at least.

Apparent provenance...

Additional Ringo.

Not a fan of these

Thank Steve.

Cheers Ballroom.

Letters like that aren’t considered provenance, but they’re often submitted as such with questionable autographs being offered.

It’s interesting that it was supposedly signed after a TV show, because the vast majority of Please Please Me albums were signed at record stores.

Steve (sorry the reply to individual posts isn’t working me for me), so we definitely think this isn’t the real thing then?

Any more clues as to who the well known forger might be?

It definitely isn’t the real thing. I think Steve is correct that it’s a prolific forger from the UK whose forgeries have been discussed here previously.

It's signed all right...but not by The Beatles!!!

why would Ringo sign it 3 times?  these are not authentic and they are also posted in another thread.
