Here is a Harrison Ford I received as a part of a trade awhile back. At the time, I had no reason to suspect it. Recently I have had a number of negative responses to it's authenticity. I am requesting members here who know Ford's signature to chime in. Is the genuine or is it so atypical that reasonable minds would have serious doubts. Thank-you.

Yes, that is why I was confused.  It sounds like Joe W was referring to the seller’s eBay listings.  This autograph may have been one of them.

Pete, you cannot fault members for asking questions.  You have asked your fair share over the years.  When this discussion began, there was very little mention of any specifics.  It developed over time, which is what made it so interesting.  The Harrison Ford autograph is atypical.  That does not mean that it is not authentic.  Every collector has their own comfort level.  That is the nature of the hobby.

Now that I am blue in the face, I will say no more.  Take care.  May the Force be with you!

I certainly don't blame anyone for asking questions. I would hope that those questions are asked while giving the important facts about the said situation.

Count me in Group 1. Atypical (?) autograph with very poor contrast seems a problem peice to me from the start. Just my .02. I hope this all works out.

Live long and...uhh..oh. ;)

Count me in Group 1.5.  Sorry, Joe W.  I could not resist.

If the Shaw failed TPA, and it’s me, I’d want the Ford 100 out of 100 times given the situation and K9s supposed reputation from what’s been described. If this guy is a Star Wars expert and also likes it, I guess I’d say I won the trade deal

The Robert Shaw autograph looks pretty typical to me.  I am actually surprised that it did not pass a TPA.  If it is resubmitted in the future, it may very well pass.

Joe, you need to buy better autographs if your planning to sell them, the Ford is terrible! The last few threads your posted have been about Tpa's not passing your graphs for resale. Stop buying poor examples and crying about Tpa's!

Paul, you sent that reply to me, not Joe W.
