It's pathetic. And this is the main reason why I never liked buying autographs because you never know if you're getting something legit or if you're just getting ripped off. If it wasn't for coBITCH I wouldn't even be buying autographs I'd be going out and seeking them in person.

I got my refund this morning for one day. Good luck to everybody who's taking a risk on it.

Glad you got the refund request in time, such a shame this is happening to Tate, especially since it is "early in the game" for her career!

I do think that we should send her web store a constructive, or not so constructive criticism on how her "You Broke Me First" signed item/items was orchestrated

I did advise them a few times that the "U Broke Me' vinyl was not signed by her. I understand her management team has also been alerted.

Keep in mind the One Day vinyl isn't due to ship until late April, so I'm thinking I might sit tight for a bit to see if this is at least acknowledged/addressed. I don't expect it will be, but there is some breathing room here in any case.

Here is the reply to my request for a refund...

Hi there,

I am so very sorry that you are upset.  However, we have confirmed with our client that these ARE hand signed.  They are as advertised.

I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Thank you!

Misty

That's funny. All it would take is about 10 seconds to look and see that they were all exactly the same.

Advise them that it's really easy to prove they're not. This is not an opinion. It's a fact.

Why don't you do chargebacks on your credit cards?

Seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.  I am sure it is COVID related but someone figured they would just stamp them to get them out the door.

This is the reply I got from her (or her record company...) after I complained:

"Hi there! I definitely understand where you're coming from regarding this, as we've had this brought up a few times already. However, we did reach out to her team and they assured us that is her actual signature and it is something she's mastered very well. Her contract was signed in the very same way. I hope this helps! "

As a reply, I sent the photos with the double-stamped vinyl Jo-Nathan posted earlier (page 3) !

I am seriously thinking about going to court against all those frauds through class action or whatever...

Could be easier for me since I am French and 50% of the cases concern UMG and the Universal Group, which is a French company (Vivendi), so...

In France, selling counterfeited products (and a stamped signature sold as original is counterfeited...) is heavily punished. Not because we want to protect autograph collectors, but because we want to protect Hermes, LVMH and Champagne ! But still the Law applies to all...

I'm glad that people are stepping up and throwing them under the bus. Me personally I decided to drop it for my sanity. It was only $17.99. Not worth the headache and the high blood pressure Lol

But I love that you're calling them out and we have proofs to back it up!

God, it'd be easier and less damaging to just fess up to this. Weird ego trip.

I can tell you that younger talented stars tend to have some fairly awful people running their show, which usually prompts me to stop supporting them. Grace Vanderwaal in another good example. She's great - the people controlling her, not so much.
