Donald Trump signed book sells for record price at rr auctions

Anyone have a a clue as to why this sold for such a price?  I can see its got some interesting content but even so.............

I would not think it would be that valuable. But, it is signed to Rudy Giuliani. One of a kind for sure.

Has to be the Guiliani inscription. Probably seen as an especially unique piece of history.

one of a kind, but sure is pricey. I have several signed trump books and never paid more than 200!

So, I have a different question to ask. WHO SOLD THE BOOK? I mean, did Rudy sell the book? I seriously doubt that. He doesn't need the money (or maybe he does). That makes me think...he probably got the book years and years ago, and gave it to a friend and/or relative. They saw the dollar signs, and sold it.

Or, I think he also had a messy divorce along the way. Maybe it got left behind. Or left it behind at a place he worked, etc.
