Is this Clint Eastwood signature real?
Hi
I am looking at a Clint Eastwood signed contract from 1966.
The seller wont make a refund, if it cant be authenticated. Which is a red flag for me.
What are your opinions.

Authenticity aside it lacks eye appeal IMO.

Fun to get the story behind one of Clint Eastwoods less impressive works.
I agree it is not the most breathtaking Clint Eastwood autographs:)
But it is an quite early autograph.

Looking at Google images his signed documents look quite consistent. Yours, however, looks different to all these. If you purchased from eBay within the last 30 days you can open a case built on photos of these other documents and if they won't accept a return, eBay will step in and make a decision. I'm sure they will give you any benefit of doubt.
If you purchased elsewhere, it may be more difficult.

It's also a low-quality JPG, which is often a warning sign. If the seller can't give you a large, sharp image don't consider it no matter how good it looks.

To be honest it does look like a photocopy. The signature is the same colour as the document and the signature looks uneven even though it was signed with a biro.

Troels, First things first….the seller won't make a refund….don't buy it. Second I own a 1963 Clint, not to mention all the early Eastwoods look nothing like this……run away from this contract…In my humble opinion.
