Have posted this already in the astronaut thread but a bit of tumbleweed kicking about there. This will be an important acid-test on a collection I am looking at.

Agreed - the spread is all over the place. I'm on the fence on this one, but leaning more towards a pass.

I have two of his signed books and don't like it.The "B" and the "z"s don't look right but there are one or two online that are similar so not sure

Thanks for that - it's part of a collection for sale which I'm following so it was an obvious Acid Test.

It's so hard at times to figure it out!

+1 (right down to the signed books).

Perhaps its an early signature?  But it does not look a lot like mine (books).
