Hi All,

Another fav - 1979's Apocalypse now. An original and unique vintage 5" x 7" color candid signed by Martin Sheen in black felt tip with an original lithograph still of Willard. There were four different Still Photographers so I don't know who to credit.

Great photo, Eric.  What an awesome movie.

What people don't know is that Laurence Fishburne (a great actor) was only 14 years old at the beginning of filming the movie.

Martin Sheen was in a movie titled "The California Kid" with a Vic Morrow.

The one movie of his that I can no longer view is "The Incident" where he and Tony Musante were criminals terrorizing subway passengers; it's not until the end when Beau Bridges fights back.  The movie frustrates me watching no one doing anything.

Thank you Christopher. I knew LF was young but 14? I thought he was 17. It was very hard to find a color still that would work here - most have other characters, Brando or action sequences. I remember Vic Morrow from the Twilight disaster. In that film I think the real shining (pun intended) star was Scatman Cruthers. I have not seen The Incident. Sounds frustrating indeed.

Eric, you have to watch "The Incident."

Back in the day I watched a series titled "Combat" where Vic Morrow (his daughter is the actress Jennifer Jason Leigh) was the star.

Yes, Scatman Crothers was great in "The Shining."

Scatman was also the star in the "Twilight Zone" movie episode Kick The Can.

Yes, that was that I meant by "shining" star - in Twilight! I love Kick the Can, both the game and the story :-) Never too old...

I will watch The Incident - thank you.

I believe the original "Kick The Can" starred an actor with the last name of Truex, who was also in "What You Need" with the great Steve Cochran.

What You Need ends with an elevator?

My father loved the one where the street bum steals the shoes of an infamous criminal and becomes possessed, turning into the killer. He gets killed and the shoes go to yet another...

That was "Dead Man Shoes."  Another great episode.

I'm a Twilight Zone nut.

Then you will know one of the scariest (for my money) - Billy Mumy as a young boy and that dead grandmother with the phone!

I also loved the idea of the "Witchin' Pool" and "Midnight Sun". Also "The 35mm Shrine" with Ida Lupino ala Sunset Blvd. And "Litlle Girl Lost" too! What a concept for the time.

Most everyone loved at least one episode I think, being as people are alike all over ;)

The scissors that Ernest gives to Cochran save him from hanging in the elevator.

All of them awesome episodes!!!  The "Witchin" Pool" being the final TW episode.

The "35MM Shrine" also starred a great, great supporting actor Martin Balsam.

Mr. Balsam starred in my favorite one-hour episode titled "The New Exhibit."

Of course Psycho, but Balsam was great in The Orient Express.

What a cast set that would make!
