The first one could be really rushed, but do you want that particular piece?   I personally don't care for it.  Scratchy pen and kind of atypical.

I believe the second one is secretarial.  That may be "Foxy" still signing for him.  Here's another like it:

So you think the first one might be real but rushed? (And definitely poor quality)

As for the second, I believe you are correct, it does look secretarial like the picture you posted.

Thank you very much Eddy.

I really can't say with much certainty on the first.  I just think it's not worth the while given the quality.  I don't know if you could get it to pass an authentication.

Ok, thanks

p.s

Here's my current favorite Lloyd...complete with glasses sketch!

That's a great signature on a great picture!

I don't usually post much from my own collection, but here's Harold's 1920's era raised letter business card that he has written Christmas greetings on.

No surname, but he's extremely scarce in anything from during his silent film era.  This was from the time of THE FRESHMAN.

Wow, very nice! I like early signatures.

Thanks....His father "Foxy" signed most everything for him up until the mid-30's....so finding anything authentic from the silent era is rare as hen's teeth.
