My heart skipped a beat momentarily when I spotted this while scrolling through a current online auction. I had never seen a signed image of actor Oliver Reed in character from 1961's THE CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF. Looking twice, I realized I still haven't seen one.
It's another new custom card creation. I still don't quite know how I feel about these.

Me too. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it gets any interest up.
Let's keep it going. We can add what we see. That Lugosi seller had a LOT as I recall.
I changed the thread title to go beyond Oliver Reed custom card. Maybe others will jump in on this topic now with a broadened subject line.
Excellent idea.
This is a small (4" x 5") signed cardstock photo of Lon Chaney Jr. as THE WOLF MAN (1st photo). Chaney Jr. (or his manager) had these made up in the late 1950's/early 60s and Lon would sign them for fans as giveaways at live, paid admission "spook shows" that he appeared at. It is a whole piece and 100% vintage to the time that Lon signed it.
The Oliver Reed WEREWOLF modern custom card (2nd photo) is reminiscent of it, but is an entirely different reality. Some may not understand that.
p.s. I think this Cushing is just ugly now.
I am not sure if you are aware but there is much worse going on right now. Someone takes signed album pages or signed pages from books then prints an iconic photo over the signed paper. The result looks like a signed photo. I have seen two Martin Luther King Jr. signed book pages that were transformed into a small signed photo.
I can’t seem to figure out how to make images appear as images that are found on other websites (rather than stored on my computer), so the link was the best I could do.
In the case of this Martin Luther King Jr. , the PSA specifically describes it as a "print". I guess the word "print" is open to interpretation. Certainly the man did not sign a "print" in this instance.
I’m unsure how the autograph was applied if not directly on the photo?
I’ve not seen “print” with an authentic auto grade before.
