The Godfather Poster

Hi Guys!

I’m a huge fan of “The Godfather,” especially the first one – absolute classic. One of my dream items would be a poster with original signatures from some of the cast. I just came across a poster on eBay with some pretty cool autographs, but I honestly have no idea if they’re real or not. I know that getting an original Marlon Brando or Robert De Niro signature is almost impossible.Is there an expert or someone knowledgeable here who could help? And how often do posters like that even show up for sale?

It's miserably overpriced, like just about everything else on that site. Caan did private signings before his death. You can get authentic items for a fraction of that price.

Hi Christian, I didn't mean you. There's another person ("posterguy") posting in this thread whose keyboard "issues" bears some familiarity to a user on Startiger. His shenanigans had an increasingly worse reception over there.

The annoying keyboard issues even after people offered to buy him a new one were an annoyance on Star Tiger. It was the terroristic threats of mass shootings that got him in real trouble over there.  😉

Ahh I understand Rich. Anyway thanks for your help. I think the best thing you can do is to get the autograph in person so you don’t end up with a fake one. But I think that’s nearly impossible for someone like Robert De Niro or Al Pacino.
